What an incredible revelation. Guess what? I do love meditation and yoga! Of course, I had to go through the fire and sit while being frustrated, but it was incredible. There is this experience of finding a comfortable position and just listen. You can listen to your heart beating, your breath, nothing, sounds, feel sensation and really live. I can see and feel so many experiences.
When I first started this Kripalu experience with meditation, our instructor, Sudhir Jonathan Foust, asked what we thought of meditation. People, including me, thought it would be relaxing and fulfilling having all of these great insights. Well, several people had terms of anger, frustration, and one of the most challenging things they had ever done. Well, he was exactly right. Can you imagine to just sit quietly? It is certainly a skill, but so many incredible things happen......nothing. Yes, I said nothing. Can you imagine what nothing is like? It is nirvana and bliss.
